Redirect invitees to an external URL after booking a meeting

Modified on Wed, 17 Jul at 10:29 PM

This guide will show you how to automatically redirect invitees to a specific landing page after they confirm a meeting booking. This feature allows you to send them to a relevant landing page, resource, or confirmation message outside of your scheduling platform.

Setting Up the Redirect URL

1. Navigate to Your Meeting Type or Meeting template: Locate the specific meeting type or meeting template where you want to enable the redirect functionality.

2. Access Invitee Preferences: Within your chosen meeting type, go to the tab "Invitee Preferences".

3. Reveal Additional Options:  Look for a button titled "Additional Invitee Preferences". Clicking this will expand further configuration options for invitees.

4. Select Redirect Option:  Within the expanded preferences, you should see a dropdown menu labeled "On Booking Confirmation". From this menu, choose the option "Redirect to an external site".

5. Specify the URL:  A dedicated field for entering the external URL will appear. Here, paste the complete web address you want invitees to be directed to after booking confirmation.

6. Save Your Changes:  Once you've entered the desired URL, don't forget to click a "Save" button to activate the redirect functionality for your meeting type.

Important Notes

  • Double-check the accuracy of the URL you enter to ensure a smooth transition for your invitees.
  • Consider what information you want the redirected page to provide to your invitees. It could be a confirmation message, thank you page, additional meeting details, or a relevant resource.

By following these steps, you can effectively redirect invitees to a designated URL after they book a booking, creating a more streamlined and informative experience.
