How to create a campaign router

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Access the Campaign Router Page:

  • Go to Router => Campaign Router in your Leadmonk dashboard.

2. Create a New Router:

  • Click the + Create new button.
  • Enter a name for your campaign router and click Create.

3. Add Meeting Queues:

  • Click the + icon to add meeting queues.
  • Select existing queues or create new ones by clicking "Creating queue".
  • Recommended: Add an ownership queue to route leads to the contact/company owner (HubSpot) or lead/account/contact owner (Salesforce).
  • Add a fallback queue for leads that don't exist in your CRM.

Select a meeting queue from the popup dialogue. You can also create one by clicking on "Creating queue" button.

4. Define Routing Criteria (Optional):

  • Add meeting queues based on CRM properties to further refine routing.

5. Generate the Smart Booking Link:

  • Click the "Link" button in the toolbar.
  • In the popup, click "Edit mapping".
  • Specify the placeholder value for the email address parameter based on your marketing platform (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Add other URL parameters as needed (e.g., first name, last name).
  • Click "Generate link with new mapping" and "Copy link" to copy the smart booking link.

6. Use the Smart Booking Link:

  • Add the generated link to your marketing campaign emails.

This campaign URL works seamlessly with Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo, and other popular platforms.

Important Notes:

  • Changes to URL parameters require regenerating the link.
  • Campaign routers support any form properties defined in your account.
  • Ensure necessary information is included in the URL for accurate routing based on form properties.

When a user clicks on the smart booking link in your marketing campaign email, Leadmonk immediately retrieves the lead's data from your CRM. Based on the routing rules set up in your campaign router, the lead is then directed to the appropriate sales representative. The sales rep's booking page is then displayed to the lead.

Benefits of Using a Campaign Router:

  • Automation: Streamline lead distribution and reduce manual effort.
  • Efficiency: Ensure leads are assigned to the most appropriate sales representatives.
  • Improved Customer Experience: Provide a faster and more personalized response to leads.

By following these steps and understanding the key concepts, you can effectively create and use campaign routers in Leadmonk to optimize your sales processes and improve lead conversion rates.
