Note: This feature is available only to users on the Advanced subscription plan. 


Pre-requisite: You must have created an organization in Leadmonk to make use of Campaign Router features.


Note: Router configuration can be done only by users with admin/owner role

What is the use of Campaign Router?

Campaign router is used to generate smart booking link which can be used in your nurture campaigns, newsletters, and product announcements. This will empower prospects to schedule meetings instantly with the right rep without the back and forth, eliminating the need for multiple links.



How to create a campaign router

To create a campaign router in Leadmonk, you will need to:

Go to the Router => Campaign Router page.

Click the + Create new button.

This will open the Create router dialog box.



Router Info Tab



In the "Router info" tab, 

  • Enter a name for your campaign router.
  • Specify the queues that you want to use for the campaign router. You can specify the order of the queues as well here. Queues are processed in the sequence they are placed in the handoff router. Once a queue is processed successfully, further queues processing of handoff lead stops.
  • Its recommended to add ownership queue here and a fall back queue if a lead/contact does not exist in CRM.
  • Click the Create button to create a new campaign router.



Actions Tab



In the "Actions" tab, you can specify what should happen when none of the queues are hit, select an option from the when none of the queues are hit drop-down list.

  • Show thank you message: This option displays a popup message to the inbound lead. You can customize the message text to be shown.
  • Redirect to a page: This option redirects inbound lead to an external webpage.



Link Tab



Here you can generate a campaign URL to pass specific information from your email campaigns.


Standard fields shown in every campaign router are:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Company

You can customize your campaign URL by adding or deleting form properties as needed. You can use placeholders or default text for URL parameter values. Whenever you add/modify URL params, campaign URL automatically gets generated with the latest information.

This campaign URL works seamlessly with Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo, and other popular platforms.

Important Reminder:

Changes to URL parameters are not saved within the campaign router. You'll need to regenerate the URL with the desired parameters each time you want to use it.



Flexible Parameter Support:

Campaign routers accommodate any and all form properties defined in your account as URL parameters. This allows you to tailor the information passed to meet specific routing needs.



Essential for Routing Criteria:

To utilize form properties as routing criteria in meeting queues assigned to this campaign router, ensure the necessary information is included in the URL. This is crucial for accurate and effective lead distribution.




How to view a campaign router


To view an handoff router, you will need to:

  • Go to the Router => Campaign Router page.
  • Click the name of the campaign router that you want to view.
  • This will open the campaign router details page.


This page shows the details of the campaign router, including the name, form, queues, and what happens when none of the queues are hit.




How to edit a campaign router


To edit an handoff router, you will need to:

  • Go to the Router => Campaign Router page.
  • There look for the campaign router that you want to edit.
  • Click the Edit icon shown on that campaign router.
  • This will open the Edit campaign router dialog box.
  • Make the desired changes to the campaign router.
  • Click the Save button.




How to delete a campaign router


To delete a campaign router, you will need to:

  • Go to the Routers => Campaign Router page. 
  • There look for the campaign router that you want to delete.
  • Click the Delete icon shown on that campaign router.
  • A confirmation dialog will appear. Click the Yes button to delete the campaign router.
  • This deletion activity can not be reversed.
